Sikhi for Toddlers
The children barely three respond enthusiastically to readings ofsimplified Sakhis, or squeal in delight as they open a treasure chest to find Laddoos or a Lehangga (girls's dress). These articles all start with the Gurmukhi letter being taught that day. Each child goes home with a craft item associated with the Sakhi he heard. Many are heard singing the Sikh-themed songs they learn in the Saturday morning class.
