Air is the Guru, Water is the Father, and Earth is the Great Mother of all.
Environmentalism may be the moral buzzword of the early 21st century, but it is no new concept in the Sikh faith. Many verses in Gurbani stress the importance of flora and fauna, as well as our role in preserving the creation of Waheguru. To promote these teachings, the Sikh Centre organised a number of nature-oriented excursions. Most recently, a trip was organised to the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserves. The participants were able to get an insight into the ecosystem at close range.
